 6“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and
 do not throw your pearls before swine,
or they will trample them under their feet,
 and turn and tear you to pieces.”
Matthew 7:6 (NAS)

I am not an advid catholic nor do I pray and go to church incessantly.
As a matter of fact, I do not have a high regard for any RELIGION.  However, I do respect all forms of wisdom especially ancient wisdom that still applies today (like the excerpt above from the Book of Matthew).
If I could read the Quran/Koran- I’d include ‘wisdom’ from there too but I was raised reading the Bible and that is what I’ve been taught.  I continue learning and ‘being taught’ through all kinds of books I’ve read.  I continue to read because I seek insight.  I read and re-use quotes because:

 9 What has been will be again,
       what has been done will be done again;
       there is nothing new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NIV)

My belief is that if you’re faced with a problem (today), there’s a 99percent chance that someone in history has gone through the same problem (if not worse) and has written something that you can relate to.

Wisdom = Knowledge + Experience

I have issues-as we ALL. I have ‘faults’ in my thinking patterns that I know I must change and that I am willing to change.  I pro-actively seek to change.  Our faulty thinking patterns and behaviors from within get exposed in time through experiences and by the people we encounter.  Stick around someone long enough and you will have the privilege of experiencing their good, their bad, and even their ugly.

Developing a whole, Healthy Life entails GROWING in every aspect:  physically, mentally, financially, socially, and spiritually. We don’t grow and develop in a bubble.  We have to engage the world by mingling with people and using our talents to obtain new skills and experience life from day to day.  Growth is about learning what works and what doesn’t so you can proceed in life towards your goals. But since our minds and emotions don’t develop at the same rate that our bodies do- ‘growth’ becomes a process of building, destroying and building again.  By using or not using your talents and skills (pearls) along the way, you build and destroy all kinds of relationships- professional, platonic, familial, etc.  The lessons are learned (hopefully) with every door that is opened and with every door that gets closed.

But no matter how things turn out- in any encounter- there is always a ‘pearl’ for each party. Every night has it’s day so if you’d stop bashing & pointing fingers and just open your eyes you’d see the lessons for you in every experience.

“Some people come into your life for a reason, a season or a LIFETIME”
Either way, there is something to be learned, so say ‘thanks for the lesson’ and keep it movin’
